For the Jerk Candied Bacon
6slicesthick-cut bacon
¼cupbrown sugar
½teaspoonjerk seasoning
¼teaspooncayenne pepper(optional for extra heat)
Instructions
Chill your tools: Place the mixing bowl and whisk attachment in the freezer for 15-20 minutes to ensure they’re cold.
Whip the cream: In a chilled metal bowl, use a hand-held mixer or stand mixer to beat the heavy whipping cream until soft peaks form.
Combine the ingredients: Gently fold in the coconut condensed milk, coconut rum cream, vanilla extract, nutmeg, and salt. Be careful not to deflate the whipped cream.
Freeze: Transfer the mixture to an airtight container, cover, and freeze for at least 6 hours or until firm. For best results, freeze overnight.
Making the Jerk Candied Bacon:
Preheat oven: Set your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a wire rack.
