How to make Jamaican Cocoa Tea
This incredible drink is one of our traditional teas that makes up our Jamaican heritage. It is also jam-packed with nutritional values that provide significant health benefits. Cocoa may improve the function of your brain.

1 1/2 Cacao Balls 3 Cups of Water 2-3 Cinnamon leaves 2-3 Cinnamon sticks Nutmeg mace 1 Tbsp of Vanilla Extract 1 Pinch of Salt 1 Can of Coconut Milk 1 Can of Condensed milk sweeten to your preference ½ Tbsp Fresh ground nutmeg 2 Tbsp Sugar optional
Bring 3 cups of water with a cinnamon leaf cinnamon stick, and nutmeg mace, to a boil in a pot, then reduce to a simmer and cook until fragrant.
Grate your cocoa and nutmeg then Stir in your cocoa. Simmer for 5 minutes then add in your coconut milk then boil for 10 minutes.
Strain your Hot Chocolate and sweeten it.
Stir condensed milk (or honey, if you prefer) into the cocoa tea. Add vanilla extract and sugar if needed that's optional, and a pinch of salt.
Taste test the tea and adjust the sweetness to your preference. Serve Caribbean cocoa tea nice and hot in mugs. With some bread and butter.
