It's jam-packed with nutrients, creamy, and super delicious, with just a few ingredients like; oats, condensed milk, vanilla, almond milk, allspice, nutmeg, and cinnamon. Oats Porridge is a staple in every Caribbean household.

Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups Old Fashion Oats use preferred oats
  • 2 cup Milk
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp Allspice
  • 1/2 tsp Nutmeg
  • 1 tbsp Vanilla
  • 1 can Condensed milk to taste
  • Salt to taste

Instructions
 

  • In a pot, add water, almond milk, and salt and bring to a boil on medium heat for 5 mins.
  • Add the vanilla, cinnamon, allspice, and nutmeg.
  • Add in the oats and whisk until the oats start getting thick boil for about 10.
  • As the oats get thick, turn the heat on low and continue to whisk for 5 more minutes.
  • Sweeten to taste with condensed milk or your preferred sweetener.
