Ingredients

  • 2-3 lbs Salmon
  • 2 tbsp dry jerk seasoning
  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • ½ tbsp cumin
  • 1 tbsp complete Seasoning
  • 1 tbsp adobo
  • 1 tbsp black Pepper
  • 1 Spring Onions: garnish before serving.
  • Oil

Instructions

  • Slice then Wash Salmon with lime, vinegar and water to get rid of the rawness. ( take off the skin if your not a fan of it)
  • Rinse with water and pat it dry.
  • Season salmon: Rub salmon with spices: sprinkle the mixture evenly on both sides of the salmon fillets and spread evenly over to coat the top surface.
  • Preheat Pan: Pour oil into a non-stick pan or cast iron skillet and tilt the pan to fully coat with oil. Heat pan over medium heat (monitor the oil while you prep the salmon don’t let it overheat).
  • Sear salmon in the skillet on the first side: Place salmon fillets in heated skillet spice rubbed side facing downward. Let sear until blackened on the bottom, about 3-5 minutes.
  • Cook opposite side: Flip salmon to the opposite side and let cook until browned on the bottom and just barely cooked through, about 5 minutes longer (if needed you can reduce burner temperature to medium-low if it’s getting too dark on the exterior before interior cooks through)
  • Serve with your favorite side
