Ingredients
  

  • 2 medium-sized orange , peeled
  • 2 lemon , peeled
  • inch piece of fresh ginger
  • inch piece of fresh turmeric root (or 1 tsp turmeric powder)
  • 1 pinch black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Preparation: Wash and peel the orange, lemon, ginger, and turmeric.
  • Juicing: Add all ingredients to a juicer or a high-speed blender. If using a blender, strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth for a smoother shot.
  • Enhance: Add a pinch of black pepper to activate the curcumin in turmeric.
  • Serve: Pour into small shot glasses and enjoy immediately.
