Brown Stew Turkey neck is jam-packed with flavor and it's a very comforting dish. Turkey Neck is referred to by many as “ghetto oxtail”. But with the price of oxtail, these days poor man's oxtails which are so cheap will be on the table a lot more often!
Chop the bigger pieces if necessary(optional)Wash the meat and dry it off completely.
In a large bowl, add the turkey neck, jerk sauce and browning sauce. Make sure to thoroughly coat each piece! Marinate for at least 4 hours preferably overnight to get the maximum amount of flavor from the seasonings.
Time to brown your meat! In a pot add canola or vegetable oil and brown each piece of turkey neck. To seal in all the flavors and give it a nice texture.
Chop up your ingredients like onion,sweet pepper, garlic, scotch bonnet, scallions and pimento seeds.
After your meat is all browned throw off the excess oil and add the meat back to the pot and add water And seasonings (above⬆️) to boil for 20 minutes or until soft.
When your meat is soft now is time to season the pot with honey bbq sauce,ketchup, sugar, complete seasoning, adobo, oregano,black pepper and butter beans.
Let that boil for 5 more minutes then that's it your done time to serve.
