  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika

Honey Hot Pineapple Sauce

  • ½ cup Smucker’s Pineapple Preserves
  • 3 tbsp Mike’s Hot Honey

  • ½ tsp crushed red pepper flakes , optional

Yogurt Pepper Jelly Dip

  • ½ cup yogurt (any kind you have, Greek, whole, etc.)
  • ¼ cup hot pepper jelly (Reese or any brand you find)

Instructions

Make the Wings

  • Preheat the oven to 425°F or the air fryer to 400°F. If you are frying, heat your oil to 350°F.
  • Pat the wings dry and season with the hot honey, salt, black pepper, green seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. Marinate for 30 minutes, or overnight for the most flavor.
  • Season the cornstarch with black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. Toss the wings in the cornstarch until fully coated.
  • Fry: 7 to 10 minutes, or until fully cooked. Bake: 40 to 45 minutes, flipping halfway, until crispy. Air fry: 20 to 25 minutes, flipping halfway, until crispy.

Make the Sauce and Finish

  • In a saucepan, combine the pineapple preserves, hot honey, hot pepper jelly, and crushed red pepper flakes. Simmer until smooth and glossy.
  • Toss the wings in the sauce until fully coated.
  • Return the wings to the oven or air fryer for 5 minutes to set the glaze. If you fried them, you can pop them in the oven for 10 to 15 minutes so the sauce can infuse. Serve hot.

Make the Dip

  • In a bowl, whisk the yogurt and hot pepper jelly until fully combined. Serve alongside the wings for dipping.
