Ingredients
  

  • 2- pound ground beef
  • 1 bottle Fire-roasted barilla marinara sauce
  • 1 bottle Traditional barilla marinara sauce
  • 1 Onion diced
  • 1/2 Sweet pepper diced
  • 3 Garlic cloves minced
  • 1-2 Fresh Tomato diced
  • 8 tbsp Dry Jamaican jerk seasoning
  • 2 tbsp Italian Seasoning
  • 5 tbsp Complete seasoning
  • 2 tbsp Paprika
  • 1/2 Scotch bonnet pepper optional
  • 1 cup Scallion save half for ricotta cheese mix
  • 2 stalk Thyme
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Salt to taste
  • 6 tbsp Black Pepper to taste
  • 1 pack Fresh mozzarella Cheese
  • 1-2 cups Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • 2 cups Monetary Jack Cheese
  • 1 cup Shredded Parmesan Cheese
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups 6 Cheese Italian Blend
  • 1 cup White Cheddar Cheese
  • 12 Lasagna Noodles have an extra 2 for emergencies
  • Fresh parsley chopped (optional)

Ricotta Mix

  • 15 oz Ricotta Cheese 
  • 1/4 cup  Mild White Cheddar Cheese 
  • 1/8 cup Grated Fresh Parmesan Cheese  or store-bought
  • 4 tbsp Dry Jerk Seasoning
  • 5 tbsp Complete Seasoning
  • Black pepper (to taste)
  • Salt (to taste)
  • 1 stalk Scallion chopped
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Parsley chopped
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Basil chopped
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F.
  • Cook the lasagna noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside. Or boil water and pour on noodles for 30 minutes then pour off water and add cool water.
  • In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium-high heat until browned and cooked through. Add the onion, tomato, weet pepper, scallion, thyme and garlic and cook until softened.
  • Add the Jamaican jerk seasoning, complete, paprika, sugar, scotch bonnet, black pepper, and salt. Stir to combine.
  • In a bowl, make the ricotta cheese mix
  • To assemble the lasagna, spread a thin layer of the beef mixture on the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking dish. Add a layer of lasagna noodles, followed by a layer of the ricotta cheese mixture, Parmesan, shredded mozzarella, and 6 cheese Italian blend then, meat and repeat.
  • Add fresh mozzarella to the top then cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 30-40 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes uncovered.
  • Allow the lasagna to cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
