Our God is a keeper of covenants and promises. After He flooded the earth for all the wickedness that was going on, and destroyed everything but Righteous Noah, his family, and all the animals with him in the ark, He made this covenant with us and promised He would never do it again.

He puts a rainbow in the sky every-time it rains and there is cloud and sunshine. We have all seen the rainbow, and when we do see it, we also must remember as believers in God, this covenant that He made. It applies to us as well.

We know we have that certain set of people that use the rainbow for their flesh, to parade around in their sin, and take it as a joke, not knowing why we have a rainbow, and they should be glad God doesn’t wash us all away again, but we believers know.

When you see the true rainbow in the sky, thank God that He sees it as well and remembers His covenant with us to never destroy the earth with a flood again. He has the power to make it rain forever and to cease rain forever. Fear God, keep His covenant and His commandments.
