“A little that a righteous man has Is better than the riches of many wicked.” Psalms 37:16 NKJV
Wisdom
In this world we live in, success is determined by riches and possessions. But it is not so with God. God loves the righteous and the poor. He abhors wicked people. People who put their trust in the money they have. Proud people have lying tongues, and hands that shed innocent blood. People whose hearts are set on doing wickedness and feet set on mischief.
A false witness that speaks likes and sows discord amongst friends and families. God calls these acts abominations and people have done these types of things for the riches and possessions they have. The love of money is the root of all evil. But we the righteous have better riches than them all, we have salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. Eternal life.
Though we may have nothing in this world or this life, we know in the end nothing in this world matters. All is vanity. But Jesus tells us the eye has not seen, nor has the ear heard what God is preparing for those who love him. Jesus said in the father’s house there are many mansions, and if it was not so he would have told us. He is preparing for us believers. To dwell in his house forever.
Don’t worry about riches or possessions in this world. All of it is vanity because naked we came into this world and naked we will go out. One day you can have it all, and the next you lose it all. You are alive today and could be dead tomorrow. But Jesus and salvation last forever. Blessed is poor in Spirit for theirs is the kingdom. Don’t worry about today, live for the Lord. Trust in Him with all your heart. Lean not on your understanding, in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path. He is coming for us soon.
