“Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life, And I will dwell in the house of the Lord Forever.” Psalms 23:6 NKJV
Wisdom
As believers in the Highest, we must make the Lord our Shepherd. We must become the sheep that know His voice. Stick to Him for the rest of our lives, so goodness and mercy will follow us. Like all the stories of the great people in the Bible. All His people never lost faith in Him. They always kept their faith and trusted in Him.
Tho they may have slipped and fallen, He was there to pick them up and guide them again. His mercy endures forever. He loves all His children. He just wants us to love Him, and keep His commandments like any parent would for their children. We all love our children but we want them to listen to what we tell them, and be obedient to us.
But there are times when they do not, so we punish them when they do wrong, and we forgive them and love them unconditionally. Same with our Heavenly Father. If we are obedient to Him and continue in His will for our lives, He will bless us.
If we love Him, we will keep His commandments. I pray we all will make the Lord our Shepherd. We won’t be in want of anything for all we need is Him. He is our provider and our protector. Jesus is our deliverer our savior. He is our everything.
When we love Him and obey Him. Goodness, mercy, peace, love, joy, all the fruits of the Spirit will follow us, and we will dwell with Him forever as He promised through His Son. Everlasting Life.
