”Now as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and after blessing it broke it and gave it to the disciples, and said, “Take, eat; this is my body.” And he took a cup, and when he had given thanks he gave it to them, saying, “Drink of it, all of you, for this is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. I tell you I will not drink again of this fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father’s kingdom. Matthew 26:26-29
Jesus Christ, our Passover lamb, came into this world to save us from ourselves. We all have a problem called sin. Sin dwells in all of us. None of us are good. We all have done wrong in our lives.
It is in us to want to do things that are evil in Gods eyes more than the things that are righteous in His eyes. He has the solution for our problem, His Son Jesus Christ. He sent Him to die so that anyone who believes in Him, will not perish in their sins, but will have everlasting life.

Jesus rose from the grave to prove Himself, that He is the Son of God, there is a resurrection, and everything God promised will come to pass. He will judge us all on judgement day for everything we have committed in life.
We keep the Passover now, as believers in Christ, to remember that He will Passover our us on that day. We do this in remembrance of Him. When we eat the bread and when we drink the wine.
We remember what He did for us, on the cross, so we could be forgiven, and welcomed into His kingdom as Son’s, daughters, and fellow citizens of heaven. Where we will drink the wine anew with Him again. Keep the Passover and remember Jesus Christ.
