Simply The Best Chicken Salad-Two Ways Fried and Baked
My husband and I have been loving us some Chicken Salad from Wendy’s on those days when you just don’t feel like cooking. But since we’re trying not to be so unhealthy, we usually just grab our favorite salads from Wendy’s. Normally I get the Southwest Avocado Salad and he gets the Jalapeño Popper Salad. His with fried chicken and mine with grilled. Check out our Chicken Salad-Two Ways Fried and Baked.
So we decided that hey we can definitely make this Chicken Salad-Two Ways Fried and Baked but make it better and make it our own. So we came up with the idea like why not combine our salad and make it one. And just add some of our favorites fruits on it. And am I the only one that think cuties tangerine and cranberries were just meant to be in a salads?

The method of scooping. folding and patting the flour into the chicken is a game changer. Along with using the water to crunch on a chicken breast like never before.
Baked chicken is more on the healthier side of this meal. It was so Delicious, tender, and juicy. Baked chicken is definitely on the easier side of cooking. You will enjoy this salad either way.

Best Chicken Salad -Two Ways Fried and Baked Recipe
Ingredients
- 4 chicken breast cutlets
- 3 cups of Flour
- 1 cup of Olive Oil
- 1 tbsp of Paprika
- 1 tsp of Onion Powder
- 1 tsp of Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp of Complete Seasoning
- 1 tsp of dry Jerk Seasoning
- 1 tsp of Adobo
- 2 pinch of Garlic Salt
- 1 tsp of Black Pepper
- 1 tsp of Red Pepper Flakes
- 1 tsp of Green Seasoning recipe coming soon
- 1 cutie Tangerine
- 1/4 cup of cranberries
- 1/4 cup of mangos
Instructions
- Clean fat off the chicken if necessary.
- Soak the chicken with vinegar and lime water to take away rawness and slime
- If meat is not flat use a rolling pin or meat tenderizer or pan to flatten meat
- Cut each breast in half
- Season your chicken with dry season Tip: leave some of the seasoning to put in the flour to fry your chicken
- Add Oil to Pot to get hot
- Pre heat oven or Toaster oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit/176.7 degrees Celsius
- Grab two bowls in one add water fill it up to the top and put a strainer in the bowl of water
- Fill the other bowl up with flour and add the rest of your dry seasoning to it.
- After you have seasoned your flour put the chicken you are going to fry in the flour. Tip: Now listen carefully scoop and fold the chicken into the flour until it’s fully covered. Press the flour in the chicken.
- After the chicken is fully coated in the flour. Shake off the excess flour put the chicken in strainer and dip it in the water. Yes I just said that.
- After you have submerged the chicken in the water drain it and drop it back in the flour
- Scoop, Fold and Press the flour into the chicken
- Shake off excess flour
- By now your oil should be HOT and ready so go ahead and put your chicken in the hot pot and fry it for 15-20 depending on the size of the chicken breast. Flip chicken half way.
- At the 8-10 min mark flip the chicken to the other side
- While that batch of chicken is frying it’s time to put your other half of chicken in the pre heated oven. For 25 mins. .
- At the 15 min mark flip the chicken to the other side
- Serve with your favorite salad dressing

- Deep Fryer or Frying Pan
