
Easily The Best Lamb Lasagna Recipe Ever
This is the world’s best lasagna recipe! Lasagna is Italian comfort food but this is not your traditional lasagna. For this recipe, we used ground lamb as our meat. We wanted to put a new spin on this classic pasta recipe. If you’re in a real-time crunch this recipe is for you because we used our favorite jarred red sauce to speed up the cooking process.
Lamb is beautiful so we didn’t want to mix it with any other meats because we wanted the lamb flavor to dominate. You’ll smell the rich aroma of the lamb escaping from your kitchen oven even before you take your first bite! This easy homemade lasagna recipe will be a guaranteed hit!

INGREDIENTS NEEDED: (FULL RECIPE AT THE BOTTOM OF THE POST)
- ground lamb
- jerk seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, etc
- parmesan cheese
- marinara sauce
- ricotta cheese
- egg
- Oregano (fresh or dried)
- mozzarella cheese
- lasagna noodles
- fresh basil (optional)

How to Freeze Lasagna?
This lasagna can be refrigerated up to five days ahead, or frozen up to a month ahead if wrapped tightly. (If you want to line the lasagna pan with foil so that once the lasagna freezes through, you can easily lift it out).
When you’re ready to reheat it, unwrap it and put it back in its original pan. Cover the top with foil and defrost in the refrigerator overnight. Reheat covered in foil at 350°F until bubbly again.

The Best Ground Lamb Lasagna Ever
Ingredients
- 1 lb of ground lamb
- 1 onion
- 1 sweet pepper
- Scallion
- Thyme
- 2 tsp of Paprika
- 2 tsp of Ground Garlic
- 2 tbsp of Black Pepper
- 2 tsp of Salt
- 1 tsp of pepper flakes
- 2 tsp Oregano
- 2 tbsp of jerk seasoning hot or mild
- 1 tbsp of minced garlic
- 1 bottle of marina sauce
- 1 tbsp of Adobo
- Ingredients for Ricotta Mix
- 1 15 oz ricotta cheese
- 1 egg
- 1/8 cup of basil
- 1 cup of Parmesan Cheese
- 3/4 cup of mozzarella
- 1 tsp of black pepper
- 1 tsp of Cayenne
- Ingredients for Pasta
- Lasagna Noodles
- 1 tbsp of of salt
- 1 tsp of Black Pepper
Instructions
- Season Ground lamb with 1 tablespoon of salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, garlic powder,paprika, Oregano, and jerk seasoning.
- In a Pot cook You ground lamb, onion, sweet pepper, scallion, thyme and garlic over medium heat until well browned. Stir in marinara sauce. Season with basil, salt, pepper, adobo. Simmer, covered, for about 1 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally.
- Bring a large pot of lightly salted, pepper and garlic power water to a boil. Cook lasagna noodles in boiling water for 8 to 10 minutes. Drain noodles,and rinse with cold water or place in a bowl of iced water.
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) then, In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese with egg, Parmesan, mozzarella, remaining scallion , and 1/2 teaspoon salt, pepper and cayenne.
- To assemble, spread 1/2 cups of meat sauce in the bottom of a baking dish. Arrange noodles lengthwise over meat sauce. Spread with one half of the ricotta cheese mixture. Top with a third of mozzarella cheese . Spoon 1 1/2 cups meat sauce over mozzarella. Repeat layers, and top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. Cover with foil: to prevent sticking, either spray foil with cooking spray, or make sure the foil does not touch the cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes; then remove the foil, and bake for an additional 25 minutes. Cool the lasagna for 15 minutes before serving.

Today, I went to the beachfront with my children. I found a sea shell
