We know it’s a little extra work, and we are here to help you have less stress in the kitchen. But, it was fun and was so easy to make, our son loved it! To your saucepan heat, olive oil then sauté onions, sweet pepper, minced garlic. Add sweet chili sauce of your liking then add ketchup, black pepper, and water. Boil until it has a saucy consistency. Super quick and easy!

How to turn chicken drumsticks into lollipop chicken?
Step 1:
Use a sharp paring knife, cut around the small end of the drumstick making sure to cut through all the ligaments and skin.
Step 2:
Use a kitchen shear to cut as many of the tendons. work the shears around the bone so you have completely separated the top half from the bottom.
Step 3
Push all of the meat down the drumstick to the bottom. There is one pin bone to look out for as you push down. if any tendons are still attached use the shears to cut them.
Step 4:
With the meat loosened, pull the meat down towards the bottom, and ball it up. Repeat process for all remaining drumsticks.
Step 5
Then clean and season the meat and place it in the baking dish and cook the chicken lollipop recipe.

Give all your cares and troubles to God, continue to pray to Him, put it all in his hands, don’t worry, have no fear. Walk by faith and not by sight. For he knows what we need before we even ask. He knows what we go through. As he said in the book of Matthew “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavily laden, and I will give you rest.” He is the same God yesterday, today, and forevermore.
Baked Sweet Chili Lollipop Chicken
Ingredients
- Ingredients for chicken
- 1 pack of chicken drumsticks
- 2 tbsp of Jerk seasoning
- 1 tsp of black pepper
- 1 tsp of white pepper
- 1 tsp of red pepper flakes
- 1 tsp of poultry seasoning
- 1 tsp of Onion Powder
- 1 tsp of Cayenne
Sweet Chili Sauce
- 1/4 cup of onions
- 1/4 cup of sweet pepper
- 1 tbsp of Minced Garlic
- 1/2 cup of sweet chili sauce
- 1/4 cup of ketchup
Instructions
- Prepare your drumsticks by using a sharp knife to cut off the end of the drumstick leg, just under the bone joint. Press the meat down, away from the end of the exposed bone so the bone forms a handle for the lollipop.
- Wash and season chicken and let it marinate overnight or for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C), place the drumsticks in the baking dish. place baking pan on the middle oven rack and bake for 15 minutes. (Make your sauce while chicken bakes)
- Remove the baking pan from the oven and pour the sauce all over the chicken so that they a well coated. Then place it back into the oven to bake for 20 mins.
- Take the chicken out of the oven and rest it for 2-3 minutes. Then Move the lollipop chicken onto a plate, sprinkle on top chopped chives, and you are ready to serve.
