Steak FAQs
Is it better to bake or pan-fry steak?
The best way to cook a perfect steak is to pan-sear it and finish it in the oven. It’s a great and super easy method. Thinner steaks don’t need to be transferred to the oven.
Should steak be cooked fast or slow?
Thin-cut meat should be cooked Hot and Fast, while thick cuts are best cooked by searing and placing it in the oven Low and Slow.
Why is my steak so tough when I cook it?
The reason your meat is tough is that it’s overcooked. Overcooking meat, even meat that comes from the more tender muscles, can make it tough. That’s because heat causes the proteins in the meat to firm up. Overcooking also basically squeezes the moisture out of the meat, making it dry as well as tough.
Does steak get softer the longer you cook it?
The cut of meat you choose and how long the meat is cooked plays a big factor in how soft it gets. The more a muscle is used, the stronger, and therefore tougher, the cut of meat will be. And the longer meat is cooked, the more liquid it loses and the tougher it becomes.
What do you eat with steak?
You can eat steak with any side dish like white rice, rice and peas, mashed potatoes, fried plantain, rasta pasta, boiled dumpling, festival, fried dumpling, and more.
Wisdom
“Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the Lord and depart from evil.” Proverbs 3:7 NKJV
Fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. A lot of people believe they know God and have Him all figured out but they don’t fear Him. We all like to think we know it all sometimes in life. We get so smart that we know better but we don’t do better. Things we say are, I know, I know, but we make the same mistakes. We think we are wise but we become foolish.
Draw closer to God and He will draw closer to you and then will we truly become wise. Wisdom comes from God, and God hates evil, and if you have no fear of God you do evil continuously. Simply because you don’t know Him. People try to prove He doesn’t exist but they are just wise in their own eyes.
The fool has said in his heart there is no God. God is real, and if you seek him with a pure heart he will reveal himself to you. Fear the Lord and receive true wisdom. Depart from evil and stick to what is good. Jesus is coming back and we all need to be ready for his return before we take our last breath. Please do not be wise in your own eyes. Seek the Lord while he may be found.
