Easily the Best Jamaican Spicy Beef Meat Loaf
Jamaican Meat Loaf soft savory pastry filled with spicy beef when you bite into it. It’s similar to a Jamaican patty, but meatloaf has a similar texture to coco bread. Many say meat loaf is like the baby brother of Jamaican beef patties. A meatloaf is like beef patty meets coco bread.

Ingredients Needed for Jamaican Meat Loaf
Egg
Buttermilk (or whole milk)
Jamaican Meat Loaf Recipe
Step 1
Combine in ingredients in a bowl ( flour, yeast, sugar, salt, egg buttermilk, and oil.
Step 2
Mix in a bowl then place on a smooth surface and kneed for 10 minutes. Then place in a bowl coated with olive oil and cover for 60-90 minutes.
Step 3
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.Divide the dough into 6 to 8 parts and form a round ball be sure to close the dough
Step 4
Roll out each part with a rolling pin. Use a spoon to fill half the circle with the meat filling. Leave enough space along the edge for crimping.
Step 5
Brush the inside edge of each dough part with water. Then fold the other half of the dough over the filling press it close and then crimp the edges using a fork and brush the top with milk.
Step 6
Place on the baking sheet in the oven. Bake for 25 minutes or until it is puffed up and golden; brush it with oil and serve while hot.
How to store your Meat Loaf
Store your meat loaf in an airtight container for up to a week in the fridge. To warm up for best results place it in the toaster oven.

Loving people is one of the hardest things to do in this current world, especially towards your enemies. The things some people do in life make it hard sometimes to want to love them. But as followers of Jesus, we must obey His word and he tells us to bless, do good and pray for them. We all fall short of the glory of God. All of us were in darkness but thanks to His mercy and his grace we have forgiveness, we have been washed, and we have been born again. We died to our former selves and now live through Him by the Holy Spirit unto salvation.
He tells us if we love people who love us what does it profit? People in this world also lovel those who love them. We must be different and show love to all, regardless of what they do and what they have done. We must have forgiveness in our hearts. Have love in your hearts because Jesus did the same for us. All can be forgiven.
The Gospel is for everyone who believes in Jesus. Most, I mean all of us have done things in life we need to be forgiven for. We all make mistakes but thank God for repentance that leads to salvation. We want people to treat us the way we treat them but we learn that’s not always the case. You can treat someone very well and they can end up cursing you and taking you for granted. But Love them. Pray for them. Bless them.
We are not doing it for ourselves or other people, but we are doing it for our Lord Jesus. Do everything as unto the Lord and not for ourselves because he did the same for us when we were in darkness. Jamaican Spicy Beef Meat Loaf Recipe
Ingredients
- Spicy Beef mince
- 3 cups of flour
- 1 egg
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp instant yeast
- 1 cup of buttermilk or whole milk
- 2 tbsp Olive oil or melted butter
Instructions
- Combine flour and salt. yeast and warm buttermilk and olive oil
- * Pour Olive oil on the surface. Put the dough on a flat surface and knead for 10 minutes. Keep adding oil to the surface of the dough that gets too sticky.
- * If you stretch the dough and it doesn’t break then it’s ready.
- * Roll the dough into a big ball and coat the bowl lightly with olive oil roll the dough in the oil.
- * Cover it with plastic wrap and then a kitchen towel.
- * Set the dough aside for an hour to allow it to rise (it will double in size).
- METHOD FOR MAKING MEATLOAF:
- * Grease baking sheet
- * Preheat the oven to 350°F for 25-30 minutes.
- * Remove the dough and place it on a flat surface (lightly flour the surface)
- * Divide the dough into 6 to 8 parts and form a round ball (be sure to close the dough (SEE VIDEO)
- * Roll out each part with a rolling pin. Each part should be a circle depending on size ¼ inch thick
- * Use a rolling pin to roll out each dough part into a circle at least 1/4 inch thick.
- * Use a spoon to fill half the circle with the meat filling. Leave enough space along the edge for crimping.
- * Brush the inside edge of each dough part with water
- * Fold the other half of the dough over the filling press it close and then crimp edges using a fork and brush the top with milk.
- * Place on the baking sheet in the oven
- * Bake for 25 minutes or until it is puffed up and golden brown
- * Brush with oil or melted butter and serve while hot!
