WHY DOES THE BREADING ON MY FRIED CHICKEN FALL OFF? HOW CAN I AVOID THAT?
One of the challenges that people face when making fried chicken is that their crunchy coating falls off. There are usually a few reasons for this to happen. Here are some tips for making sure your breading doesn’t fall off.
- When coating and breading your chicken, be sure to drain off the excess water as well as the excess flour.
- Be sure to press the flour in the chicken to make sure that the flour sticks to the water.
- Make sure that you don’t overcrowd your pan. You want to make sure that the chicken isn’t bumping against other pieces of chicken which can knock off the breading.
- Only flip your chicken wings once while frying. The more you fuss with your chicken, the more likely you are to knock off or disturb some of the crunchy coatings.
WHAT KIND OF OIL IS BEST FOR FRYING?
There are lots of options when it comes to the oil used for deep frying. Common options include peanut oil, vegetable oil, canola oil, safflower oil, corn oil, and more. Vegetable oil is the oil we recommend using for deep frying. It has a high smoke point and once used for frying, can be reused. The best temperature to fry chicken at is 350 degrees Fahrenheit. It is normal though for the oil temperature to fluctuate while cooking. As long as your oil is between 300 and 350 degrees Fahrenheit, your chicken should come out perfect.
How to Store Leftovers
Seriously, we doubt you’ll have any leftovers, but if you do, you can store them in an airtight container in your refrigerator for 2-3 days. You can also pop them in the freezer in an airtight container for 3-5 months. To reheat, simply bring them to room temp, put them on a baking sheet, and warm them in the toaster oven.

Wisdom
All of us have the power of choice in our lives. We pick, choose and refuse the things we do in life. We are responsible for our own life. Our lives are truly in our hands. We choose what to eat, what to wear, the words that we say, and so on. We even make our own rules and we choose what rules we want to follow.
But as believers in Christ, He gave us a set of rules to follow. We still have a choice whether we want to obey what he says or not. But there are consequences. Just like in life if we choose to break laws, we can get locked up in prison or worse. We can try to escape or try to run, and sometimes even get away with breaking laws in life. But with Jesus, there is no escape. The eyes of the Lord are in every place.
Beholding the evil and the good. He is carefully watching everything we do, everything we say, even our thoughts He knows. On that last day, there will be a judgment. To see who is true to him and his words. Who obeyed him and kept his commandments. But he is not going to put the evil doers in prison. They will go into the lake of fire for eternity, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Where the worm does not die and everyone will be abhorred.
Do not forget his commandments, walk in them, and keep them in your mind and your heart. Repent when you forget and do what is wrong because he is merciful, he is forgiving, he is filled with love and truth. Love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind, soul, and strength. Love your neighbors as yourself. Fear God and keep his commandments
