“Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?
John 11:25-26 NKJV
Wisdom
A man named Lazarus was sick and died for 4 days before Jesus was able to arrive back in the city. He was the sister of Mary. Mary was mourning like any of us would be when a loved one died. But when Jesus came, she tells Him she wished he was there to heal him from his sickness before he died.
Jesus showed many miracles of healing already, so she knew he could. Jesus loved Lazarus as well and to comfort her, Jesus told her these words before He would ultimately prove what He said to her. So she believed them. But she believed before the miracle happened. After she put her faith in Him and trusted in His words, did He tell Lazarus to arise and come forth out of the tomb? He proved that He is the resurrection.
Wisdom Continued…
He has the power to raise the dead. He has the power of life in Him. Anyone who believes in Him will never die because He can bring you back to life. We all have this promise once we believe in Him. Once we believe His words, Once we put all of our faith, trust, and hope in Him, we will never die. We go unto eternal life with Him forever.
Repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit, which will seal us with His promise. God is not a liar, Heaven and earth will pass away, but His words will never. His words will always come to pass.
Our God doesn’t just talk the talk. He walks the walk and has done many works even to this day, and He is still working through His people. I pray we all can come to Him before our lives are over. We only get 1 life to make a choice. Make the right choice and choose Jesus. He is the only one who promises life after death. The salvation of our souls.
